Every woman wants a beautiful pair of legs ... but spider veins can

treated by electrodessication; a process that involves sealing the

Laser vein therapy is a modern procedure for the treatment of leg
veins. At the Dermatology and Laser Center, we utilize an advanced
long pulse laser ... the VersaPulse™ by Coherent. VersaPulse treats
veins with pulses of highly concentrated green light. The beams
color is significant in that the color of a particular laser is key
to its effect on spider veins, since certain colors of light are
absorbed by specific colors in the skin's pigmentation. The laser's
light energy seals the vein shut allowing the now diminished vein to
be reabsorbed by the body, rendering it nearly invisible. The pulses
of light are also unique in that they are adjustable for duration,
thus minimizing bruising.
The VersaPulse laser has proven so versatile that it has been
extremely effective in the treatment of facial veins, pigmented
lesions, sun damage and age spots. It is also produces positive
results when used for tattoo removal. Gentle, expedient and

Sclerotherapy is a quick and comfortable non-surgical procedure that
treats unsightly varicose and spider veins. This method involves
injecting the vein with a specialized agent called a sclerosant. The
treated vein collapses and is naturally absorbed into the system.
Discomfort is minimal and the cosmetic benefits become obvious
within a week or two. The affected area is rendered nearly invisible
and no scarring results. Sclerotherapy is a well proven technique

How these
Hair Removal treatments
work:
Bacteria which cause acne are rich in a natural chemical called
a “porphyrin”. Certain porphyrins will liberate molecular
oxygen when exposed to a special blue light. These blue light treatments
are effective for mild and moderate acne. They are 10 – 15
minute long treatments and must be repeated twice a week for four
weeks.
The treatments can be “supercharged”
by adding ALA. This painlessly applied clear liquid will
increase porphyrins in the bacteria and in the sebaceous (oil) glands
causing the blue light or laser to be even more effective against
these causes of acne. With the addition of ALA the patient will
require as few as two or three treatments. These treatments also
literally erase some skin cancers and precancerous lesions.
